Where to Get a Thanksgiving Meal in Austin

There’s no doubt Thanksgiving will look a little different this year for many of us. It might be a smaller meal at home, or a socially distanced Friendsgiving if traveling to see family isn’t and option. If you want to leave the cooking up to someone else, I’ve got you covered. Many restaurants in Austin are offering a special meal for the holiday, for dine in or take out. Here’s a list of some of them:

Hotel Ella

Mattie’s

The restaurant has in house dining and curbside to go options. Thanksgiving will be served family style at the restaurant or a family meal package is available for curbside pickup. Orders need to be placed by November 19.

Café No Sé

Café No Sé will be open on Thanksgiving from 7am-7pm for reservations + walk-ins, featuring holiday specials like pumpkin pie french toast, turkey confit with rosemary focaccia stuffing, and brown butter chai and sweet potato ice creams.

La Condesa

You can order a to-go Friendsgiving meal kit that feeds 6-8 comfortably. The menu features a La Condesa twist on holiday favorites, like confit chicken with masa-based gravy, chorizo & cornbread stuffing, sweet potato tamales and jalapeño brussels sprouts with bacon jam, available for pre-ordering 11/6-11/7 for pick-up 11/18-11/22.

Olamaie

The southern food restaurant is offering “Everything but the Turkey” dinners for six which will include Chef Michael Fojtasek's renditions of classic sides like broccoli and cheese casserole and cornbread sage stuffing as well as the restaurant’s famous flaky buttermilk biscuits and biscuit dough cinnamon rolls for the next morning.
